C & G Adores: 5 Hand Care Favorites

Today I'd like to share 5 products I completely adore for hands--from scrubs to nail polish.

I think I've talked about Seed a bazillion times here on this blog. You all know me well enough to know that when I find a brand I adore, I have to tell you about it -- sometimes again and again. This is a truly natural, non-toxic, eco-friendly brand of very affordable products. In fact, last winter I named their fragrance free Healthy Hand Cream an ideal replacement for my own facial cream because it is so fantastic. Plus, Seed is now available at Wegmans, making it very accessible for me.

I recently had the chance to try two new Seed products, and as I expected, they both are wonderful.

Therapeutic Hand Scrub-- I really love a good hand exfoliant. When I am making my necklaces with resin-protectd images, I use a super strong epoxy. It never fails that I end of getting some stuck to my skin, which isn't a good thing. I have to wash my hands often when this happens--that and having two children who always bring home germs has me frequently cleansing.

Seed Therapeutic Hand Scrub is my go-to scrub for the hands. You squeeze some on, massage into the hands and on top, and rinse off. Rich in antioxidants, aloe vera, and natural oils, this exfoliant softens and nourishes as it removed dead skin cells. Instead of rough and irritating nut shells or plastic pieces, apricot seeds are used to give the exfoliating properties. Glycerin is used to help your skin retain moisture, and it is free of those harsh abrasives and silicones.

I like to use this at night and then slather my hands with hand cream.  Use this on those feet too for soft and smooth heels.

Healthy Hand Cream in Relaxing Lavender-- I am guilty of not always practicing what I preach when it comes to pampering yourself and getting some R & R. I really need to work on this! In the meantime, the soothing benefits of aromatherapy are something I enjoy each and every time I apply the lavender Healthy Hand Cream.

Free of silicones, this all-natural cream is fortified with shea butter, sunflower oil, coconut oil, grape seed oil, aloe vera, jojoba oil, and many other skin-pampering ingredients. The gentle natural lavender aroma is given by the essential oils in this and your hands will feel silky, soft, and well-protected.

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream -- This little tin is something I've purchased and repurchased for many years now.  It smells so light and lemony and makes the rough skin around my cuticles feel soft and new.  Unlike many Burt's Bees items, it is free of artificial fragrance (come on Burt, get with the times and get rid of synthetic fragrance!). I buy this all the time for stocking stuffer gifts and to keep in my bedside table drawer.

Acquarella Nail Polish -- Acquarella is a natural nail polish free of any harmful chemicals and is virtually odor free.  This water-based nail polish comes in 30 gorgeous shades ranging from sheer and pastel to rich and vibrant. Looking for a deep rich red for fall?  Try Vamp! It's a favorite of fine! Looking for more of an everyday shade? Then try Sparkling Cider.  It is still great for fall, but is really a light and lovely shade!

100% Pure Hydrating Hand Wash -- I am loving these hand washes from 100% Pure! I like knowing that only natural ingredients are used in this to keep our hands super clean-- and no triclosan!  Available in several scents, this girl recommends Key Lime & Mint! It's my favorite one.
