Mayday Underground Talent: 1st Edition

Tuesday, April 5, 2011

Mayday Underground is an arts & crafts show featuring over 90 local artisans. This will be held Saturday, April 30th from 10-4 at the Main Street Armory in the city.

I've heard great things about it before and decided to apply. I told myself that I would not do shows for my jewelry. When I closed my skin care business due to it taking away time from my family and my life in general, I promised that my new ventures would never take time away from my family. I won't do outdoor shows because of this. I decided that this would be a good fit and it's only for one Saturday, so I applied. I was accepted and am looking forward to it. I know I mentioned a date in May before, but due to a scheduling oversight, the venue needed to change the date to April 30th.

There are so many talented people from right here in the Rochester area, so I thought I'd start showcasing the artisans here on the blog. This will be a regular feature until I've featured each and every participant. I'll do 10 a day. If you live in the Rochester area, please do check out these wonderful shops. There is so much talent right here in our own backyards...
