{etsy love: autumn}

I will admit it. I am not that crazy about summer's end. Yesterday was gorgeous--in the 80s and full of sunshine. It's cloudy now with some wind and that look in the sky--fall's imminent arrival. I don't like the up and down weather. I don't like the fact that it leads to a very long winter season....My ideal weather is 83 and sunny. What I do like about the upcoming season can be summed up into three words: foliage, apples, and pumpkins.

I do also enjoy  going to Herman's in Webster for the pumpkin donuts....and some hot cider. Oh, and grape pie from the Finger Lakes. I guess fall is not so bad after all!

To get me psyched for the season, I thought I'd look to Etsy for some inspiration. Here are my favorite fall finds:
Adorn your front door with pumpkin and cream berry wreath from Two Inspire You.

Glass beaded carnelian earrings from Balanced

The Autumn Splendor necklace from my shop, Loubird Handmade

A beautiful clutch for fall from Rochester's Excessary

 A must have fall soap: Autumn Harvest from Aunt Nancy's Handmade Soap
$5.50

Harvest Moon perfume from Solstice Scents sounds heavenly!

Pumpkin Pie lip balm from Givin Me Lip

I adore this bamboo jersey scarf from Tiny Peepers!

My own recent fall purchases:

I just ordered this pom pom jersey scarf in gray from Pretty Panda on Saturday. I'll let you know how I like it when it comes.

Plus, I was working on finding items this morning for this piece and bought a perfume from Solstice Scents. Listen to the description and you'll see why I bought it!

It's called Pumpkin Spice Latte and is a blend of coffee, sweet pumpkin, cinnamon, gingerbread, whipped cream and nutmeg. It sounds like the perfect fall scent!
