ETSY LOVE: The French Bee

Tuesday, October 21, 2008

The French Bee on Etsy is a brand new shop owned by a wonderul lady names Alison. This shop features handmade shabby chic items that will delight both traditional shabby chic and primitive fans.

I have been eyeing her Christmas trees--my dining room is lavender with French white trim and toile window treatments for a casual French chic look. It's my favorite room, I think. These trees would look great in there since the typical red and green won't go.  Her handmade trees are $24 each.

If you're still looking for Halloween decor, check out her cute "Boo" hat box or some of her other cute prim meets shabby pieces.

Alison of The French Bee is offering Free Shipping on all items as part of her grand opening celebration, so now is a great time to give this young shop your business!

While The French Bee is new, Alison also has another shop called Miss Emma's Closet. This store features great items for baby. I like the Gavin guilt. It's adorable--and makes me think of my precious nephew Gavin who I will meet for the first time on Monday! The trinket box for boys is adorable as well!

If you love reading blogs, and chances are if you're reading Chic & Green you do, head over to Alison's blog. Reading her daughter's story make you realize how much we all need to step back and appreciate what we have in our lives, how lucky we are to have our health...how lucky we are to have those we love in our lives. Please read her blog and read about her precious daughter Emma.

By the way, Alison is donating 10% of the profits from both Etsy stores to St. Pete's Hospital, which is the hospital her daughter goes to.
